Parish council meetings
Parish Council meetings are ordinarily held every two months on Monday commencing at 7pm at the Hooper Hall in Lydlinch DT10 2JA.
Members of the public are most welcome to attend meetings.
Please contact the Clerk to register your attendance in advance of the meeting.
​Notice of meetings is published on the Parish Council web site on the Tuesday of the week preceding the meeting date.

Highway emergencies
An emergency on the highway is defined as something that will cause, or has already caused, damage to a person or property. This includes:

damage caused to the highway by an accident

obstructions/debris/hazards on the highway which could cause an accident
-
significant flooding of the highway
-
oil spillages significant enough to cause a road hazard
Highway emergencies should be reported by using the 24 hour Highways Emergency Line on 01305 221020. ​If there is a genuine emergency and life is in immediate danger, dial 999 for the emergency services.

Community Transport services
Community Transport can help you to make essential journeys to places like the hospital, doctors, dentists and opticians. Some services offer transport for shopping and social trips. The Dorset Council website has a helpful directory of available community transport schemes.
Defibrillator locations
There are 2 defibrillators in Lydlinch Parish; one in the village of Lydlinch and one in the hamlet of Kings Stag.
